Pharmacy Contraception Service
The NHS service involves community pharmacists providing:
1) INITIATION – when used for the first time or needs to restart oral contraception (OC) following a pill free break
2) ONGOING supply – when a person has been supplied with OC by their GP or a sexual health clinic and needs a subsequent supply
*Please note – Your blodd pressure and body mass index (BMI), i.e. weight and height will be needed for the service.
